My name is Melvyn Pearson. I live in Tandragee a wee town in the County of Armagh, 
Northern Ireland...I  Would love to hear from anyone interested in, or anyone who has 
any information on the Pearson & Armstrong Families. especially possible relative in 
New Zealand, Australia, Canada & USA.
I started to collect my family information about 5 years ago and only trecently 
decided to document it on the World Wide Web.
My Paternal Line the PEARSONS came from the north of England and settled in the 
Kilmore Area of Armagh in the 1600's when Oliver Cromwell was in power. The family 
was Quaker and christian names arre biblical and repeated which makes tracing them 
harder. Some including my branch sailed off to New Zealand, some stayed and my lot 
came back in the very early 1900's and settled again in the Kilmore / Richhill Area. 
My branc of the PEARSONs today are mainly settled in the Tandragee / Laurelvale / 
Portadown areas of County Armagh.
My maternal line the ARMSTRONGs are originally from the border area of Scotland and 
settled in the Clare / Ballyshiel area. The family exists in Co Armagh, Co Antrim, 
Canada and USA.
